HISTORY

 

Jackson, Jackson & Kurtz is a long-time Battle Ground law firm.  Its roots go back to Earl W. Jackson, Sr., who was the first attorney in Battle Ground, Washington.  In fact, Earl Sr. incorporated Battle Ground as a City in 1951, and had a general law practice.  In the 1980’s three of his children established JJ&K as a professional law firm.  Earl W. Jackson Jr. and Peter K. Jackson have each practiced at the firm for over thirty years.  In 2014 Ryan P. Kurtz joined the firm followed by Jacob P. Jackson in 2017.

The attorneys at JJ&K practice several areas of law, with a major emphasis on estate planning, probate & trust administration, and real estate litigation.  However, many of the attorneys at JJ&K also specialize in other areas of law including personal injury, landlord-tenant law, minor criminal defense, and business law.
